What an absolutely amazing experience to have WF Building Services manage and build our Project from start to finish, through some adverse weather conditions over the winter months, they were professional, honest, hardworking, extremely high standard/quality and a very trustworthy team, quite frankly a pleasure to have on board. If you're reading this then you're probably looking for a local builder
with great feedback on previous projects, bags of experience, reasonable
prices and very trustworthy....I was in the same position back in the
summer of 2016.
I had invited various Window / Orangery specialists to design and quote
for a new Orangery but not being happy with their proposals I decided to
look for a local builder to take on my project. This involved the
demolition of an old, very cold, conservatory, replacement of existing
concrete base and removal of the kitchen walls to create an open plan
kitchen/ dining and lounge area under two large skypods.
I invited Wayne from WF build to look at the plans and carry out a survey.
Wayne advised and helped me with the building inspector and structural
engineer arrangements stating that the project was straight forward but
the footings may be an issue with living so close to a lake.
Unfortunately, some months later when the excavation began it became
apparent due to the poor subsoils that a specialist company would be
required to pile drive supports deep into the earth. Although this created
additional costs, I appreciated the fact that I had been forewarned and
satisfied myself that we would have no future issues with subsidence.
Wayne, like myself, has project management experience with a large company
and it showed. The project started in the spring of 2017 and took four
months to complete but it was well planned with his team on site every day
applying good working practices and maintaining a safe and clean site.
I'm probably not one of the easiest customers Wayne has had to deal with,
interfering, changing my mind and presenting problems for him to solve
along the way but he has a "can do" attitude and took it all in his
stride.
I was pleasantly surprised at the start of the project when the building
inspector told me that I'd made a good choice with WF build. Accolades
continued throughout the project from various trades that I had brought in
independently. Kitchen, flooring and decorating contractors all said how
good Wayne and his team were to work with and praised the standard of
workmanship.
A few weeks after WF build had left site and with decorations and
furnishings complete, I took photos of the new Orangery and sent them to
Wayne who praised me and my wife for our design. I actually think Wayne
and his team should take the credit for turning our very simple drawings
into a new living space with images that would grace any home improvement
magazine.
Finally I'd like to thank Sally (Wayne's partner and secretary) for

Hi Wayne,
Just to say, a big thanks again on completion of our extension, which looks
great and vastly improves our property. Our neighbours, friends and family
have all said how good it looks and commented on the superb workmanship.
It's very refreshing these days to have tradesmen that you can have complete
trust in, but we can honestly say that we were never in any doubt from day

WF Building Services have just completed the building and
installation of an En-Suite bathroom in our main bedroom.
We have no difficulty in finding superlatives for the standard and quality of the work undertaken. Quite simply Wayne and his team did a brilliant job. The quotation was fair and clearly itemised and the time frame was set and achieved.
The fact that the work went smoothly and was completed on time was largely due to the fact that Wayne was on site every day working and closely supervising the team. Considering the work was in an upstairs bedroom and the weather was not great, there was minimal disruption and mess.

Heard the one about the builder who arrives every day before 8am with a
smile on his face, finishes the job on time, to spec and on budget? Neither
had I before I met Wayne of WF Building Services Ltd.
This testimonial will probably read like he has written it himself but I
can't find a bad word to say. This is pretty much how it went:
•We were supplied with a schedule akin to a military operation, which was
adhered to by the letter.
•Wayne was on site every day leaving me to tender to my family's every need
without the hassle of "builders inane questions".
•Wayne dealt with the planners which meant I didn't have to be charged by
the police for murdering one.
•The workmanship was second to none and all WF's team produced exceptional
levels of workmanship.
•When the job was complete we were supplied with the relevant building

WF Building Services recently completed a contract at 60 & 62 Market Street,
in the New Mills, High Peak Conservation Area, to reinstate "heritage style"
timber surrounds & fascias to the shop windows.
Considerable skill and patience was necessary to fix new materials to the
coursed stone walls, with a degree of adaptation required to the inevitable
imperfections of a two hundred year-old building. This was implemented very
satisfactorily within the target programme and contract price, all under the
control of contract manager Mr Wayne Flood. In addition to the normal
construction challenges, this work was in the "public eye", requiring due
care with regard to pedestrians on the adjacent public footpath.
We found Mr Flood and his contract personnel to be competent, reliable and
very reasonable to deal with in all aspects of the tendering, requisitioning
and construction process. We would not hesitate to employ this company on
any future work.

'Wayne Flood of WF Build Ltd has recently built an extension at my property. It was not a straightforward build as the foundations had to be hand dug to a depth of 4 meters due to the fact that we had bad ground and no machine access. I am extremely happy with my kitchen extension that has recently been
completed by Wayne of WF Build Ltd. I love it and do not spend much time in
the rest of the house now. Whilst doing the extension Wayne also extended my
